Weekend Wanderings: Staying at Home

by - Friday, September 26, 2014

Last week, we were happy to stay at home. We read, we play, we laugh, we bond together.

It was really great to see both Js playing happily. This is a milestone for us. Previously, Big J did not like to play with Small J. They were always snatching from each other, resulting in both of them feeling upset and frustrated. Now, to see both of them talking to each other, playing and laughing together, it totally warms our heart. We joined in their fun too!

We also had fun with our imagination. Here's Big J pretending to walk on a railway track and trying to build a house.

Spending time with the Js also makes me realised how much the boys had grown. It has been a long time since I just do nothing and watch Small J drink his milk. Usually, I would just give him the bottle and go about doing other stuffs. So, here he is drinking, looking and smiling at me. Aww...my heart melts! After finishing, he knows how to put on the cap of the bottle. Little moments like this usually get lost in our pursuit of time.

We also had the chance to have some outdoor fun. Both boys are so happy to go outdoor. Big J rode his balance bike, had some play learning and enjoyed his favourite bubbles. Small J chased after the bubbles, play ball and had a little splashing good time! It was also good bonding for us as a family.
