Alive Museum 2016 (Ceased Operation)

by - Tuesday, July 26, 2016

The last time we visited the Alive Museum was about two years ago. During then the two boys were only 1 and 3 years old. It was really difficult to get them to pose for photos and they were more happy running around and photo-bombing others' photos. Furthermore, Alive Museum was just newly opened and it was pretty crowded then.

After all these years, the hype of such visual illusion attractions has more or less settled down. It is not so crowded now which makes the visit more pleasant. To attract visitors, Alive Museum regularly update its collections with new ones. This time we were invited to check out some of the new exhibits in Alive Museum.

The little lion boy is too short to be seen

It is quite creepy to see my head inside the washing machine!

I was still apprehensive that the boys will not pose for photos or they might just run around like our first visit. Surprisingly, Big J actually went up to some of the exhibits and ask us to take photos of him. Of course, we need to be super fast in clicking the camera because he only posed for one or two seconds before moving off.

Ask him to keep his legs inside by he insisted on taking the photo this way

Swinging into the alligator's mouth

Trying to rescue the penguins

The first part of the museum are mostly the usual exhibits that we had seen during our previous visit here. So we went through these pretty fast. And without a crowd, taking photos are so much easier.

Who wants some Poop Ice-cream?

Look Mummy! I'm so strong!

The Spiderman kiss

This boat is still one of my favourite! Too bad, there wasn't anyone around to help us take a family photo, so I will just settle with taking one with the little boy.

Row, row, row your boat...

At Alive Museum Singapore, there are also many exhibits that are uniquely Singapore! See if you can identify our nation icons below.

Young@Heart Zone

Next, is the highlight of our visit! Welcome to the new Young@Heart Zone! Here, you can see some vibrant and colourful art pieces which are for anyone who is young at heart.

Kids will love this because they can ride on the bicycle!

Live.Laugh.Love Zone

The next new zone is the Live.Laugh.Love Zone. This zone is my favourite! It's all about love here! Couple love, friendship love or family love. Some of the exhibits give me a feeling that we are back to our courtship days.

Do they give me more love or headaches? Lol

L-O-V-E Love~~

We had a wonderful time at Alive Museum and hope to be back again when there are new exhibits in the future. We visited on a weekend late morning and there wasn't a crowd. We don't have to wait for most of the exhibits and the boys have more space to move about.
